Machu Picchu by car 2 days ( group service)

Day 1: MACHU PICCHU BY CAR 2D/1N 06:30AM – 21:30PM

Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu. Santa Maria, Santa Teresa.

We begin the adventure towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in OLLANTAYTAMBO we will make a brief stop to appreciate the landscapes of the area, we will continue the trip through a winding ascent, heading to the Habrá de Málaga located at a height of 4316 meters above the level from the sea from where we can observe the most wonderful landscapes of the Peruvian geography.

After a brief stop to take pictures we will begin the descent towards the high jungle, passing through the different altitudinal floors that combine paradisiacal landscapes from majestic snow-capped mountains to the hot jungle, until we reach the town of Santa María (1575 m.s.n.m) we will find a path in perfect fully paved state. Place from where the dirt road starts, (paved) to continue to the town of Santa Teresa. Arrival at the Hydroelectric sector, where we will have reasonable time to enjoy a delicious lunch, then we will continue. Optionally you can take the local train to Machupicchu town or you can take a 9 km walk that lasts approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours, the road is flat parallel to the railway, once in the town we will stay at the Designated hostel, then we will have dinner where we will receive the explanatory talk for the next day’s guided tour of the citadel of Machupicchu.

Day 2: MACCHU PICCHU – CUSCO

5:00 a.m. After breakfast very early we start the road to the Citadel of Machupicchu, we will begin the visit to the archaeological complex for a period of 2 hours. It is recommended to return before 11:00 am recommended time, to return to the Town of Machupicchu where you can take the return train to the hydroelectric at 12:30 pm. (optional) or walk back to the Hydroelectric, to continue the return to Cusco, by the same route arriving in Cusco at 9:00 p.m. on.
