ITINERARY

Day 1: CUSCO- QUAD RIDE TO RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – CUSCO

The adventure kicks off with a hotel pick-up between 3:30 and 4:00 AM, followed by a three-hour ride in our tourist transport to the town of Japura in the Pitumarca District (4,200 m above sea level) south of Cusco. Here, we’ll enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast.

After a brief safety briefing from our guide on operating the ATVs, we’ll have a 10-minute practice session before embarking on our thrilling ride. As we journey on the ATVs, we’ll marvel at the stunning multicolored landscapes, reaching Qosqopata at 4,900 m above sea level in about an hour.

Next, we’ll take a 40-minute walk along a scenic path that winds through vibrant mountains and small streams, covering approximately 1.5 kilometers. During our walk, you’ll notice how the colors shift with the weather. We’ll arrive at the breathtaking viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) at an altitude of 5,036 m, where you’ll have ample time to capture stunning photos and videos. Our guide will share fascinating insights about this colorful mountain while we soak in the enchanting views hidden behind clouds and snowy peaks.

After this unforgettable experience, we’ll make our 25-minute trek back to our ATVs and head to the town of Japura for a hearty buffet lunch. We’ll return to Cusco, arriving around 5 PM.
